A Modern Botanical Spring Wedding in Montreal

Planning by Erika Co. | Photography by Brent Calis

This May, I had the pleasure of flowering a stunning wedding in Montreal that felt like a true breath of spring. Thoughtfully planned by Erika Co. and beautifully captured by Brent Calis, this celebration was the perfect balance of modern minimalism and soft botanical romance.

The aesthetic was guided by keywords like modern, botanical, minimalist, and spring—and every element of the design reflected that vision. Clean lines, sculptural blooms, and thoughtful restraint allowed each flower to shine in its own right.

For the bouquets, we opted for a refined palette of all white, featuring elegant calla lilies, sweet peas, and delicate spring blooms. The bride carried a soft yet structured composition that felt both fresh and timeless, while the bridesmaids held simple, sculptural clusters of calla lilies—bold and minimal in the best way.

The reception design continued the story with long tables dressed in crisp white linens and black accents. Minimal floral arrangements in soft neutral tones, featuring tulips, orchids, callas and anthuriums, were scattered down the tables in modern vessels. The result was a harmonious blend of softness and structure—perfectly echoing the couple’s refined taste and the season’s quiet beauty.

This wedding was a beautiful example of how minimal doesn’t mean lacking—it can mean intentional, elegant, and incredibly impactful.
